Just 32 lodges, in a field above the estuary

Chivenor Park sits at Chivenor, under 2 miles from Braunton, with the Taw estuary beyond the trees. Your place to escape, whenever you need it.

The layout

One lane, 32 plots

Real drone film

A plot, from above

Filmed by drone in July 2026: a hard base with its own driveway beside the lane. 8 seconds, no sound.

A real drone film of the park, with no sound, looking straight down: a plot with its hard base and driveway beside the curving lane, the roof of a lodge on the next plot, and a bare plot with a blue hose laid out across the base.

Park life

The season, dogs and the rules

The season
Open 1 March to 31 January: 11 months of the year. The park closes for the whole of February.
Holidays only
Your lodge is a holiday home, not your main home. You need a main home elsewhere, in the UK or abroad, and the park may ask to see proof of it. Within the season there is no limit on how often or how long you come on holiday.
Pets
Welcome. Up to two dogs and one cat per lodge. The Tarka Trail runs right next to the park. Dogs of breeds banned under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 are not allowed.
Security
An electric gate at the entrance. You insure your own lodge and its contents, through Leisuredays.
Park rules
Ask for the park rules with the licence agreement before you reserve. They set out what happens at the end of the term.
